"At some point in life, each of us must walk to the head of the long, rectangular board room table of our mind and successfully provide firm leadership and direction..." Here is where I share my point of view from the Director's Seat.

Update
"Ed and Vonda,
We had the pleasure of meeting Eva!! She walked downstairs with two of her caregivers. I could tell she was shy and anxious to meet someone new. She had on a long horizontal striped orange and yellow dress and a little duck purse over her shoulder. I was told she received it from you and she loves it!! She was very happy to hold her stuffed animals and she immediately hugged them. Then the caregivers handed her the picture of both of you. She studied it closely and then held it, looking at it further. The caretakers kept saying mama and papa. She was very intent as she looked at the picture. She seemed more interested in looking at your picture than at us!! She then said "thank you" with the prompting of the caregivers. She then walked back upstairs holding both the stuffed animals and her duck purse. At one point she tripped because she was holding so much! She was very beautiful. We look forward to watching her grow up with you..."

Let's try this again... Just not so many details and not using the 'a' word. What a blessing to have so many opportunities to reach to our daughter and hear about her!
Yay!
We definitely need to get another one of those duck bags in case this one doesn't make it home . . .
Oh how precious. What a wonderful glimpse of your baby girl.
How cool!
What good friends you have to share such a sweet memory with you in such detail.
Thank you for sharing that with us.
Oh, every detail is just so exciting. Again, can't you just picture Eva in her striped dress with her little duck purse over her shoulder shyly coming down the stairs? And then the way she studied your picture, trying to process and take it all in...we can't wait for her to get here and you all to meet face to face and let the family life begin!
Swirlingeddy, great idea to get a duplicate duck purse!
I was just struck again with how loved Eva will feel when she looks back on all of the posts about her and senses all the anticipation that her parents and surrounding community of friends have had in wanting her to come! What a loved and wanted child she is!
I am so glad you are sharing again, I have missed it so much. Although I do need to keep a kleenex box on my desk now. What a treasure to get to learn all of these things about her before you get to hold her in your arms. What a day that will be! We don't even know her and we love her already!
Soon so Soon, L.
Praise God that for those wonderful connections that He is so carefully orchestrating.
Thank you for sharing V, I can totally picture precious E coming down the stairs.
love you friend
Oh, Vonda and Ed! How precious! God is so good to give you these glimpses into Eva's life before she even gets here. We just know you are busting at the seams with excitement and we want you to know we share your joy completely. Hooray! Hooray! Grandpa and Grandma are so excited for this little picture into Eva's life too. Can hardly wait.
Great news! Don't you wish to know what she is thinking!
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing. Each moment shared about Eva is precious and leaves an imprint on the hearts of everyone. What a blessing it is for each of these moments!
