I got a Holly Hobby house and a Lisa Frank sticker collection book. Steve got the ALF phone and we still have it and many matchbox cars.

okay, we get it; you liked 'pound puppies'.

I have often wondered why scratch and sniff never expanded its' market:

other scratch and sniff possibilities...oh, never mind...

Swampy - great catch! :-) Actually this one was an accident; if I were going to have intentionally emphasized one, it would have been Knight Rider. :-)

You're really itching to get into trouble again, aren't you? Can just see you edging nearer and nearer to the line... When you finally can't hold back any longer, cross the line on Kristi's site, k? I think my grandma sometimes reads this... (JK!) ;-)

I remember sitting next to you and Jeremy on the floor eating chocolate icecream one night while watching Knight Rider. I distinctly remember two things...A) Vonda and me stirring our ice cream to the point of you mind as well just have had milk, and B) thinking David Hasselhoff was cute! (wow, I can't believe I just admitted that. Just so you know I do not hold those same opinions now!)

Sad what age does, isn't it? (His, not yours). Oh the vulnerability... ;-)

polly pockets and pet shop, barbies, puppy suprise (never got one, but always wanted one...I got a cool sheep knock-off though), yep, that was it...kind of a boring child! I used all Vonda's hand-me downs. Except, by the time I got Mr. Potato Head I think he only had one ear and some feet.
I always wanted mouse trap too...

One of my favorite toys was Lite Brite. Something so right about all those straight lines. I guess that goes for the Etch-A-Sketch as well.
The Fisher Price bead counter was one of our family's favorites. So many pattern possibilities!

caboodles!!!! I kept all my BIG, BIG, MALL hair supplies in there. Oh and the GINORMOUS hoop earrings that went with the hair. Loved Caboodles. How do you remember all this stuff?

I received a rubik's cube one year for Christmas and I took off and replaced the stickers in probably less than a week. sigh... no patience and the puzzle just HAD to get solved.

Nerf Ping Pong, Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and a Juice Newton record.

Oh, scratch N sniffs...did anyone else have a sticker book and trade stickers with their pals?

-V- said...

Oh yes - definitely had sticker books and did trading... a lot of them ended up on fronts of school notebooks too... :-)

Man, I had forgotten about the Family Tree. Nice design how the canopy just dropped over the living quarters. Wish I still had mine.

That's what compulsive purging will do to you.

What? No Barbies?
Fisher Price barn, school and house.
Holly Hobby press ons. Remember press ons? Tinker Toys and Thing a Majigs.
Raggedy Ann and Andy.

Ok, I suppose I'll admit to the Barbies. :-) Actually, I spent hours with them; my dad had made me the king of all Barbie houses... :-) All good ones, Carla!
