The appearance of hips, for me, has been kind of like, "Now you see'em; now you don't." - except the exact opposite. Did a little pre-trip shopping today and had a real 'come to Jesus' moment in the fitting room.I've written a haiku in cautious wonder/celebration:
Buttons popped: SURPRISE!
Seams smiled wide before my eyes...
I'm a brand new size!
I was always a late bloomer... Had any (shareable) surprising fitting room moments lately?

Today, though, my father-in-law asked me if I'm "getting chubby?" (With a smirk on his face.) I assured him, that yes, I am getting chubby, but not for any kind of fun reason--no baby in there thank you very much.
I would need more room then this comment box will allow. Ha! That's almost sort of a pun. I bet you are going to have a blast despite the unexpected surprise. :)
Hey, when I was reading your post and then clicked over to the comment screen, Nathan piped up and shouted "I wanna see goin' potty!" (That's what he thought the picture was in the dressing room.)

Kara Jo- Good Grief. That just sucks, can I say sucks? If people don't know for sure they should say nothing.
KJ - LOL comment from Naterputt! :-) I don't know if the person is in a dressing room or not... But did you notice that the jeans around her ankles are about Nathan's size? Thought that was hilarious... :-)

I had this before I came to Florida trying to find some new "cute" stuff for the trip. Thanks to working out at Curves I've gotten some of the baby stuff off, but still need to work some more so I have more of the natural looking curves. :) Kara jo...I've had that comment from one of my grandma's before. (no V, not ours) Sometimes people should just be quiet with their comments. Girls are lovely with curves.
Most new moms have the hip spreading experience. The baby is coming soon...
