Making the Cut

A child's play scissors
should not be sharp to cut hair!
Clippings on the floor...

Served up with a smile
in a blue, plastic fry pan.
Black spaghetti. Mmmmm...

P.S. Thanks for all the super play ideas; top two still under consideration... :-)

No way, really?! She didn't...

Oh yes, they do that, don't they? I bet she was very proud. Also, it's always a lot funnier when it isn't your own child doing the cutting. hee hee. :)

Clearly you've been kept on your toes...

That's hilarious.

Guff and Duncan better lay low for awhile. It would be so fun to make golden colored spaghetti too.

A child rite of passage.

A rite of passage, true, but one you've been "blessed" with so soon! I'm still waiting for "the big cut" to happen here...

So funny! Ali did this just a few weeks ago (with child scissors) but I caught her before she did noticeable damage!

Yeah, thankfully Eva has so much hair, you can't tell she cut anything off... It was startling to see a bunch in a play frying pan though - and to continue to find it lying about on the floor afterward... :-)

Oh no! And there I was just Sat. demonstrating to Eva how to hold the scissors the right way...

I'm so sorry...

Kavya has been a major hair cutter all her life. Every barbie and bratz doll, sports a Dorthy Hamil bob.

Ask Naomi about cutting her hair just before going to her uncle Tom's wedding......about age 4 or 5

Taylor cut Collin's for him, Shannon cut her own. Rite of passage, indeed.

Sarah cut her own. Everyone at church said, "I love your new haircut!!!"
